In 2013, Brittany and Mallory met while working as nurses in the medical intensive care unit. The two New Orleans natives quickly bonded over their similar interests and work ethics. This friendship eventually transformed into shared goals for them to become Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).

As luck would have it, Brittany and Mallory were accepted into the same cohort of Louisiana State University’s Nurse Anesthesia Program in 2016. In addition to the cost of graduate school, they would be required to cover the costs of clinical travel, textbooks, and anesthesia equipment. Despite being excited to pursue their dreams, both women knew that finances would become an issue, as they were no longer able to consistently work due to the intense nature of the program.

In 2019, both Brittany and Mallory successfully obtained their Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a specialization in Nurse Anesthesia. After graduation, they began working at a teaching facility that allowed them to work with students on an almost daily basis. Upon learning of some of the students’ experiences and reminiscing on their own time in school, Mallory and Brittany vowed to give back to student nurse anesthetists. With a passion for helping those in need and their own firsthand experiences of financial hardships, Neaux La Made was created.
