Need Support?

Lagniappe Award

Lagniappe is the act of giving extra or gifting gratuitously to those around you. Lagniappe is rooted deeply in New Orleans culture and at Neaux La Made. The Lagniappe award was created as a way for Neaux La Made to support SRNAs and give back to the community.

In our 2023-2024 cohort, 13 students were provided with over $20,000 in funding used to cover the National Certification Exam, AANA Annual Congress, and in-person regional anesthesia labs.

The Lagniappe award is available to applicants who…

• Are 2nd or 3rd year student registered nurse anesthetist
• Are from an underrepresented background and display financial need.
